potato wedge gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 50g Butter
  • 500g inspire potato wedges
  • black pepper
  • 300ml Milk
  • 300ml double cream
  • grated Nutmeg
  1. Set the oven to 180°C/gas 4.
  2. Rub butter all over the insides of a large round dish to grease it.
  3. Then arrange the potatoes overlapping slightly. Season them with salt and freshly ground black pepper and grated nutmeg.
  4. Mix the milk and cream in a pan add the garlic clove,heat until almost boiled leave to infuse for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the garlic and pour over the potatoes to cover.
  6. Bake in a low oven for two hours. Serve when the potatoes have softened, and turned golden brown on top, and while the cream is still bubbling.
